Camps
Sugamya India Foundation’s quality interventions are aimed at increasing accessibility and quality in healthcare. Empowering communities through awareness and knowledge involving the marginalised sections of the society. An outreach session was conducted in the resettlement colony of East Delhi, Kalyanpuri. A free health camp and an awareness session, which included maternal and reproductive health, anaemia and nutrition, and early identification and treatment of communicable diseases.
Sugamya India Foundation organised a health camp and a breast cancer awareness session in Palam Village, Delhi. A number of patients were screened for Non-Communicable Diseases (Hypertension and Diabetes), treated, counselled and referred accordingly to the nearest health facility. Mothers accompanying children were also educated for complete immunisation and nutrition focussing on Under 5 age group.
